Imperial – Speaking Up Brand

Objective

Commissioned to encourage employees globally to Speak Up, we designed a suite of communications to cut through hesitation and build trust — reassuring employees around anonymity, providing a clear path to reporting, and nurturing a culture where doing the right thing is a shared responsibility.

How We Did It

A range of creative concepts were developed to grab attention and make a lasting impression. The chosen direction centred on Togetherness — the idea that speaking up is a shared act, not an individual burden — visually represented by a diverse collection of speech bubbles converging to form a human silhouette. A stylised Speaking Up identity was developed from this concept, with the silhouette and speech bubbles evolving together into a distinctive, memorable mark that prompts both reflection and action.

Deliverables

The programme was brought to life across a comprehensive suite of assets, designed to reach employees at every touchpoint. An editable A4 Poster gave global locations the flexibility to apply their own translated content without compromising design integrity — ensuring the campaign resonated wherever it was deployed.

Animated and static banners were featured as an Intranet Home Page Takeover, commanding attention at the point of highest visibility, while an IB News Graphic and Email Signature — both in static and animated formats — extended the campaign’s reach into the flow of everyday communications. Editable Info Cards completed the suite, giving employees a tangible, accessible reference point for the reporting process.
