Maximising Business Continuity with Confidence in Crisis Management
Imperial’s newly formed business continuity arm needed to persuade global manufacturing teams to adopt new crisis planning and response procedures – with the goal of significantly reducing operational downtime and associated cost to the business.
We began by partnering with the team to improve data quality, developing a mapping system that consolidated complex, fragmented datasets into a clean easy-to-navigate record of key personnel and locations across office and manufacturing sites. These foundations were essential for identifying the right audiences in the right locations.
With this groundwork in place, we actioned a full communications strategy designed to take global crisis managers on a structured journey – building initial awareness, embedding aligned understanding, driving process adoption and sustaining long-term momentum.

At the heart of the programme was a custom built SharePoint Resilience Hub – a dedicated space for crisis managers to rely on throughout their planning journey. The Hub featured a full resource suite, including introductory webinars, business continuity plan templates and practical guidance materials. To support rollout and ongoing engagement, crisis teams received a series of launch and periodical communications across email, Intranet and Yammer/Viva.

PC team were very supportive throughout the project. They helped me build on my initial
ideas providing an end product which far exceeded my initial expectations and brief.
I would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.
