Code of Conduct Launch

Trusted to Embed Code Compliance

Objective:

The Code of Conduct sits at the very heart of Imperial’s integrity and business compliance. For over a decade, we have championed it through communications that cut through globally, command attention, and secure genuine commitment across the workforce — ensuring compliance is not merely understood, but truly owned and delivered.

Code of Conduct Launch Comms – Key Objectives

How We Did It:

Working in close partnership with the Governance team, we take responsibility for clearly communicating each periodic update to the Code, ensuring strategic alignment and enablement at every stage. For the latest relaunch — one that reflected substantial change across the business — it was critical that the global workforce did more than acknowledge the new Code. They needed to embrace it, commit to it, and embed its principles into the way they work every day.

Deliverables:

We developed and led a comprehensive Code Communications Plan, built around an integrated suite of touchpoints designed to deliver communications that feel personal, relatable, and memorable — at scale, across sales, office and manufacturing.

Code of Conduct Launch Comms Mix

Alongside the core Code of Conduct design, a launch video was broadcast globally — both online and across communal presentation screens — bringing the Code to life through creative use of brand assets, with a clear focus on embedding understanding and highlighting key benefits to encourage prompt adoption.

Beyond the launch phase, contextual Code topics continue to be explored through the Talking Code podcast series, ensuring the Code remains front of mind long after the initial rollout. A dedicated intranet Code Hub gives employees – including new starters during their induction – immediate access to key resources when needed, including eLearning in both bitesize and ‘power hour’ formats, overcoming time barriers without compromising on depth. Employees are rewarded for their commitment with a digital completion badge to display in their email signature, while People Managers gain the confidence that Code expectations are understood and upheld across their teams.
