CLIC Sargent - Billy's Appeal Fundraising Campaign

Every day 10 families are told their child has cancer. As the UK's leading children's cancer charity, CLIC Sargent is the only organisation to offer them all round care and support.

CLIC Sargent currently has seven ‘Homes from Home’ which offers families free self-catering accommodation close to where their child is being treated.

Billy’s Appeal adopts the name of Billy Greenall who overcame incredible challenges during his long treatment for cancer. CLIC Sargent have launched a fundraising appeal with Billy’s parents to open a new Home from Home near Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham.
They need to raise £2 million.

Point Creative developed a complete identity for Billy’s Appeal, consisting of a logo, online graphics and a range of printed communications.

The key objective expressed the need to highlight the importance of Homes from Home and how donating to the appeal will make a big difference by enabling CLIC?Sargent to build a home for Billy.

The design embraces Billy’s Story, and visually connects with the reader. Directed photography has captured the love between Billy and his Mother and the promising future that now lays ahead of them.

So far, an amazing £1.8million has been raised which secures the opening of the new Nottingham Home from Home in 2009.
