Publishing 19 restaurant guides across the UK and backed by top chefs Raymond Blanc and Heston Blumenthal, Food & Drink needed an easy way for hungry people to search their top eateries online.
Adopting the existing website framework, we transformed the home page into a clever database driven food portal, bringing 1000’s of restaurant reviews to hand in a few easy clicks.
We also designed a Featured Restaurant section which gives Food & Drink a prime spot to place their favourite haunt... probably not the best way to describe Thornbury Castle!
To our horror, research revealed that site visits were proportionately low, discovering that all the site content was being hidden away from Google and other major search engines.
Needless to say, we fixed that in a jiffy, and with the Google romance back on track, we have seen a massive boost to unique visitors and page views... brilliant!
